Interconnection of Two Server Rooms for a State Grid Corporation in Northeast China

Project Background

State Grid Corporation of China was established on December 29, 2002. It is a wholly state-owned company directly managed by the central government in accordance with the Company Law. As an ultra-large state-owned key backbone enterprise related to national energy security and the lifeline of the national economy, its core business is the investment, construction, and operation of power grids. Branch offices of State Grid are located in almost every province and city.

At the end of 2025, a branch of State Grid in Northeast China sought consultation from our company through a local system integrator regarding a project.

Business Challenges

1. The two server rooms could only provide two bare fiber cores for interconnection, but multiple 2.5G optical signals and multiple Gigabit electrical signals needed to be transmitted.

2. New equipment had to be compatible with existing network equipment and support network management.

3. The equipment was required to operate stably and meet the acceptance standards of central state-owned enterprises.
