Product Overview
The ONU (Optical Network Unit) is a device designed to enable fiber optic access for residential and enterprise users, forming a fiber broadband access network that delivers high-speed internet connectivity. Typically deployed in conjunction with an OLT (Optical Line Terminal), the ONU receives optical signals and converts them into electrical signals for end-user devices, while the OLT transmits data to the fiber backbone. The ONU supports various fiber access protocols such as EPON and GPON, and offers multiple access modes including PPPoE and fiber mode. It is characterized by strong compatibility, network stability, high data transmission speeds, low cost, compact size, and ease of deployment.
