Product Overview
The High-Power Erbium-Ytterbium Co-doped Fiber Amplifier (HP-EDFA) is a low-noise, high-performance optical amplifier designed for robust signal enhancement in modern fiber optic networks. Each output port can be equipped with an integrated CWDM multiplexer (1310/1490/1550 nm), allowing easy combining of OLT and ONU data streams directly through the 1310 nm and 1490 nm optical interfaces into the amplifier’s output. This integration reduces the number of discrete components, improves system performance and reliability, and makes the HP-EDFA an ideal solution for FTTx networks. It offers a flexible, cost-efficient approach to supporting triple-play services and Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) deployments.
