Product Overview
The Optical Splitter, also commonly referred to as a beam splitter or branching device, is a key passive component in fiber optic networks.
The PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) optical splitter is fabricated using lithography technology to form optical waveguides on a dielectric or semiconductor substrate, enabling efficient light splitting and distribution. It features compact size, high reliability, a broad operating wavelength range, and excellent channel-to-channel uniformity. Widely used in PON (EPON/GPON) networks, it facilitates optical signal power distribution.
