Single-Mode DTS Integrated Module

Distributed Optical Fiber Sensing (DOFS) systems utilize optical fibers as sensors. Based on the generation mechanisms of Rayleigh scattering, Brillouin scattering, and Raman scattering, and employing Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) technology, these systems enable the measurement, analysis, monitoring, and localization of physical quantities (such as temperature, vibration, or strain) along the fiber.

Based on the generation mechanisms of Rayleigh scattering, Brillouin scattering, and Raman scattering, and employing Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) technology, these systems enable the measurement, analysis, monitoring, and localization of physical quantities (such as temperature, vibration, or strain) along the fiber.

 

DTS (Distributed Temperature Sensing) is primarily based on the temperature sensitivity of Raman scattering. Using OTDR principles, it employs optical fiber as a sensor for real-time temperature monitoring along the fiber, with a maximum monitoring range of up to 30 km.

 

Fholink's Single-Mode DTS Integrated Module integrates a DTS Raman light source, WDM, APD detector, and data acquisition card. Temperature information is directly output via an Ethernet interface. This module features high integration, compact size, and high reliability, making it suitable for distributed optical fiber temperature sensing systems.
